harryhadouken asked: Is the War Doctor now considered as the canonical Ninth Doctor?
I don’t really understand the question. I’m tempted to say something like, “No, the John Hurt War Doctor is just something that happened in THE NAME OF THE DOCTOR, THE NIGHT OF THE DOCTOR and THE DAY OF THE DOCTOR on television.”
If it happens on the TV, it’s canonical, unless it isn’t. (For example, no-one seems entirely sure whether we get to see pre-Hartnell regenerations during the mindbending battles of Brain of Morbius.)
We now know there was a regeneration between the Paul McGann Eighth Doctor and the Chris Ecclestone Ninth Doctor, one whom the Doctor himself has only just begun to regard as being The Doctor (as opposed to being something else).
If you mean, “Do we now all have to agree to renumber all the Doctors?”, I think the main purpose of numbering things is to communicate, and we all know who we mean when we say Doctors NIne, Ten or Eleven. If anyone corrects you and says “You mean TWELFTH!” when you say “Matt Smith was the eleventh Doctor” then that person is being irritatingly pedantic and should be pitied, in a nice way and with a gentle friendly, not-patronising sort of love, because they will have long hard lives ahead of them.
Neil Gaiman always gives the best advice :)
I will be writing a sociological research paper about the effects of the lyrics in Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines.
Please reblog this if you are a female who finds the lyrics of this song offensive or upsetting.

I’m begging. please. I need a job.
My baby girl came home with me today!!!! Isn’t she the most adorable thing you’ve seen?!

TODAY IS THE DAY…..I’m so excited, I feel kinda sick to my stomach…but I think that’s mostly because my contact at the shelter hasn’t called me back to confirm time or place….if this falls through… :’( I’ve been inagining this day for…weeks now…I get to go meet my baby girl! :) wish me luck!
"When you dress like that it’s like putting a steak in front of a dog; what do you expect?"
Peanut butter is basically my dog’s favorite thing in the world.
You know why she’s not even touching it?
I said “no.”
I’m literally so excited that my stomach is churning and time is moving at less than a snails pace. Friday evening I’m going to meet my baby girl! No matter what happens, I’m just excited to meet her. I talked to my dad yesterday about how things were, and I’m going to go see about two more job opportunities today, so I’m really pumped. Even if I have to figure out how to pay for all my expenses, I’m going to make this all work. What are dreams for if you don’t chase them right?
dammit tumblr, I have to go to class but I’m so far down my dash, I think I’m stuck….send help…
thefaeborn asked: Sit down with your parents and explain what you want, then give them a chance to express their own concerns with it (without immediately offering a counter to it). Let them know that you'd like to work out any issues they might have, and you want to respect their opinions on the matter. It'll go a long way toward getting what you want :D
Thanks Bel :) I’ll try that. I’m trying to calm myself now to call them.(face-to-face visit is an hour away)
Anonymous asked: Go for it! I hope your parents will be understanding. Good luck!
Thank you dear Nonnie, I hope so too….my parents are not alays the most understanding…
you know….everyone always tells you not to get your hopes us so as not to get them crushed, but I can’t help it. I am excited. I want this to happen. The only thing I can’t figure out at this moment is how I’m going to tell/convince my parents. I want to adopt a puppy. I have one in mind that I actually sent a message to the rescue group asking if I could arrange to meet her soon(as she’s in a foster home). I’m really excited and I really want it to work out.
